I am a Physics tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Medical Physics. My expertise lies at the intersection of physics and materials science, where I integrate concepts of defects and phase transitions to explain how materials behave under different conditions. I specialise in teaching crystal defects, grain boundaries, diffusion, and phase diagrams, bringing clarity to complex topics that often challenge students. My teaching approach is highly visual and application-driven. I use diagrams, real-world material case studies, and industry-relevant examples such as the steel phase diagram to make abstract principles concrete. This method allows students to connect microscopic structures with macroscopic material behaviour in an intuitive way.
