About Raegan
At this point in my career I have understood what it feels like to succeed and to fail when studying. This has allowed me to try out a variety of studying techniques. Not everyone learns the same so it is really important to try out different options for each person. The traditional style of teaching in schools can be tough and it's important to find those little differences in teaching styles that work for you. I am by no means dedicated to one style of teaching. If we aren't seeing the progress you want to see with one style then we can incorporate other resources and change our plan as we go.

When covering concepts there are several key rules I follow. First, during the first run through of material we need to categorize the information into easy, intermediate, and difficult based on the student's understanding. Next, we need to understand the more difficult portions of the material. Third, review, review, review. This can include using worksheets, supplemental reading, or demonstrations based on the student's individual needs. Generally I prefer to have a discussion about timelines and tests so we can develop a schedule to cover all the required material. My lessons focus on any knowledge K-12 however I am more recently familiar with Science 10 and Bio 20/30.
