About Kaelin
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Piano) and have 7 years of experience teaching piano to students from beginners to advanced performers. My teaching philosophy combines technical skill development with expressive musicality and performance confidence. I focus on helping students achieve technical proficiency while nurturing their creativity and interpretive abilities. Each lesson is designed to balance structured practice with enjoyable musical exploration.
Lessons are customized to each student’s ability. Beginners work on note reading, finger technique, and simple pieces; intermediate learners develop sight-reading, dynamics, phrasing, and ensemble coordination; advanced students focus on complex repertoire, improvisation, and performance readiness. Every session integrates exercises, repertoire, and constructive feedback to ensure balanced growth.
Outside teaching, I actively perform and study various musical styles and techniques to bring fresh ideas to my students. Supporting learners in achieving technical mastery, musical expression, and confident performance is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

My piano lessons focus on helping learners build technical proficiency, musicality, and confidence at the keyboard. Lessons cover finger independence, scales, chord progressions, sight-reading, rhythm training, improvisation, duet playing, and expressive interpretation. Students develop the ability to perform solo pieces and collaborate in ensemble settings. I encourage creativity, exploration, and thoughtful interpretation while maintaining a strong technical foundation. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing students to progress at their own pace while continually challenging their skills.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on reading notes, hand positioning, basic scales, simple repertoire, and rhythm exercises. Intermediate learners refine finger independence, phrasing, dynamic control, sight-reading, and ensemble participation. Advanced students work on complex repertoire, interpretation, improvisation, performance preparation, and collaborative playing. Each session combines structured exercises, repertoire practice, and detailed feedback to foster comprehensive musical development.
The goal of my piano lessons is to help students become technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Students gain independence at the piano, ensemble awareness, and performance confidence. Lessons balance technical rigor with creative exploration, providing a rewarding musical learning experience.
