About Imogen
I am a student at the University of Leeds. I have been teaching piano casually since 2016, and my most recent bassoon student achieved a Merit in her Grade 3 ABRSM (having been learning for one year). In terms of my practical experience, I achieved my Grade 7 ABRSM Merit Piano in 2015, and my Grade 8 ABRSM Distinction Bassoon in 2014. As well as this, I achieved my Grade 8 Trinity Distinction Recorder in 2011, and am currently teaching myself Tenor Saxophone to expand my musical breadth instrument-wise, and to further my understanding for how to help others learn.

I provide lessons to any individual wishing to learn how to read music, or to play practically on piano, bassoon, or recorder up to Grade 5 standard. In terms of reading music, I will be teaching how to read treble, alto, tenor, and bass clefs, as well as how to write music on manuscript. In terms of practical lessons, there will always be an even focus on scales & arpeggios, pieces, and sight-reading.
