About Kevin
I am a musician currently completing my Master's degree in Music performance and musicology. I majored in Music Theory, Performance, Musicology, Guitar methodology and teaching methodology in my Undergraduate degree which I passed with distinction. I have been performing as a freelancer since 2012 at the age of 16. My first students started with me when I was 18 and many have moved on to taking music more seriously with more experienced professionals. Music theory was my favourite subject right until my fourth year of music studies and I like helping young musicians see how important it is and how fun it can be.

My teaching methods aim to make things as simple as possible. I aim to teach to the target audience and will adapt my approach based on your age. I can ensure that students are fully prepared to write any theory exams from Trinty, ABRSM and UNISA. All of my theory students thus far have achieved nothing less than distinctions for all their theory work

Details
Distance related cost can be negotiated depending on distance and time of the lesson. Lessons after 20:00 are subject to an extra R50. Cancellations must be done within 24hours and a new time must be arranged or the charge will remain. Paying upfront affords flexibility in arranging lesson times as you will receive preference.
