About Noah

Hi! My name is Noah Ringrose and I am a photographer who has been working with the medium for a number of years in expansive ways.

I have self-published several books & zines, participated in many exhibitions both locally and internationally, attended the presitigious Fabrica Residency in Treviso, Italy, I hold both a foundation degree from London Metropolitan University and a first class degree with honours in Graphic Arts and Design from Leeds Beckett University. I am currently studying my MA in Photography at the Royal College of Art in London, UK.

Additionally, I also have experience working with and for independent galleries and publishers, this is useful in terms of being able to provide additional insight for students who are looking to become part of that world.

I am trained in most areas of Film Photography, including but not limited too developing film, darkroom printing, scanning of film etc...

Further skills that I hold are the use of the adobe suite, such as Indesign, Photoshop and Lightroom. All programmes that make the possibility of working with photographs from your home very real.

I have experience in both lecturing and running workshops and feel very comfortable in the environment of teaching, something that I think is integral to the processes of learning and growing.

Some specific subjects that I could help you with are:
- Camera skills and knowledge (Film and Digital)
- Film photography skills (Developing, Darkroom printing etc...)
- Art school applications (Ranging from Foundation up to MA level)
- Philosophy of Photography
- Book design/layout

I want nothing more than to teach and inspire other individuals to find their voice in photography like I found mine!

What I can offer you:
Custom tailored lessons to your specific needs! Whether you are applying to an MA, applying to a residency, wanting to learn to hand-print in the darkroom etc... I can make these lessons work completely to you and your needs/time frame.

Additonally I can offer experienced advice on specific projects you are working on, show you how a camera works and so much more...

All this can be done in person or online, I am very flexible and will always make it my goal to make sure your needs are met.

- Free 15-20 minute consultation via Zoom to see if my tutorship is something you want to continue with
- If my services are what you are looking for then we can take time to create a custom lesson plan/timeframe to fit all of your needs (prices are always negotiable).
