About Simron
I am a Neuroscience student at Boston College with a strong academic background in math and science. As a college student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a subject does not immediately make sense, and I believe having someone patient to explain concepts in a different way can make a big difference.
I am responsible, patient, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident in their own abilities.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student. Math can be challenging, so I like to break problems down step by step. I also encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves with my guidance so they can become more confident and independent.
A typical lesson would begin by reviewing what the student is currently learning and identifying any areas they are struggling with. We would then go over the concept together, work through a few examples, and finish with practice problems that the student can try independently. I can also help with homework, test preparation, and reviewing material from class.
As a Neuroscience student, I have experience with math and science courses and understand how important it is to build a strong foundation before moving on to more difficult material.
My lessons are intended for middle and high school students who need additional support with arithmetic, pre-algebra, or algebra, whether they are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for a test, or simply looking to strengthen their math skills.
