About Sprahaa
I'm an undergraduate hoping to study neuroscience with a minor in public health, on a pre-med track. I conduct research in a stem cell biology lab and have experience working on transcriptomics and machine learning projects in reproductive health, so I know firsthand how far a strong science foundation can take you.
I'm also a certified yoga instructor with six years of experience teaching children and a dance instructor. I myself have delved into a variety of dance styles, from contemporary to ballet to bharatnatyam. I've shadowed physicians in rural clinical settings abroad, which shaped how I think about communication and meeting people where they are, something I carry into every tutoring session.
Teaching has always been central to who I am, across many different contexts. I'm patient, curious, and genuinely invested in the people I work with.

I'm a university student on the pre-med track, with hands-on research experience in a stem cell biology lab and a genuine love for science that I can't help but share.
I tutor algebra, geometry, chemistry, and natural sciences for middle school through early college students. Having dived deeper into these subjects myself over the recent years, I know exactly where things tend to break down, and I build sessions around those sticking points rather than generic review. Science and math are genuinely so exciting and intriguing once the fog clears and watching that moment happen for a student is my favorite part of teaching.
