As a biology, chemistry, and research tutor, my teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts clear and relatable. I use active learning techniques, like breaking down topics into manageable parts, using analogies, and applying real-world examples to reinforce understanding. I encourage questions, critical thinking, and problem-solving, rather than just memorization. I can also assist on aspects regarding being a pre-medical student and acquiring research as at all levels!
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of prior topics, followed by a focused session on the new material using diagrams, practice problems, or research examples, and ends with a brief summary plus tips for independent study or review.
What sets me apart is that I bring not just textbook knowledge but hands-on research experience — I help students connect classroom learning to actual lab practices and current scientific research, giving them insights into how knowledge is applied in real-world science.
My lessons are designed for high school, undergraduate, or early graduate students studying biology, chemistry, or entering research fields who want to deepen their understanding, improve their academic performance, or prepare for lab work, exams, or research internships.
