About Christopher
I graduated at the top of my class in high school quickly to learn that I suffered from mediocrity in college. You don't have to let that be you if you stay on top of your priorities. Needless to say, I put my nose to the grindstone at UC Santa Cruz, and I developed lasting relationships with my professors even getting to work as an intern for a BSL 2 laboratory investigating V. cholerae. I did all of the scientific inquiry you dream about in your freshman chemistry class: mixing beakers, plating bacteria on agar dishes, and tinkering with the genome of this bacteria, so that we may be able to better combat this pathogen that affects most developing countries.
I've worked since college with doctors, psychologists, as well as retailers to better gain experience in the workplace as well as the many facets of life. You can hide yourself away in one specific craft, but from many of my mentors they encourage getting a wide berth of experience before committing to one path in life.
Besides claiming to be on the path to providing care as a doctor, I also stream on my own YouTube and Twitch channel. Video games are a hobby of mine that I spend a lot of time with. I love my dog, obviously, but I am a bit of a car nut. When you're bumping elbows with doctors frequently, you learn to appreciate high powered cars a lot more. My car may not be a Mercedes-AMG C63S, but it is a Subie, and it definitely has some work done to it. I love going out for drives, letting that Boxer engine rumble through my Nameless custom catback exhaust.

I aim to tutor primarily high school age students. However in my experience, there are many university students that never developed a foundation for their scientific learning needs. I can help all ages in that aspect. I aim to explain things plainly, or as plainly as they can be taught. For there are subjects that require straight memorization, and I do my best to let students know when there is no other option than simply memorizing the material. Aside from that, I pride myself in explaining the purpose and function of most other scientific principles without needing to say, "Just memorize it and that's it."
My specialty is physiology and anatomy, however that requires strong knowledge of cell, developmental, and micro-biology. Physics and chemistry are directly related to biology, so understanding of those is a must. Lastly, math and statistics are quoted as "The language of God", and as such, they are essential for any aspiring scientist.
