About Kaci
I’m a former math teacher with 15 years of experience. I am also a mother to 3 biological children and countless former students. I was the recipient of my state's teaching fellows program as a senior in high school. My teaching experience is predominantly at Title 1 schools. I believe it's important to lead and coach students through their own ways of processing to complete problems and adapting to what fits best for a learner.

Taught Algebra 1 to 9th graders for 15 years. Volunteered and tutored in PreK-8th grade math. Avid teacher for 5 years. This elective is for predominantly “average” students to refine and grow skills to help with college admission. My teaching method is to give students skills to productively solve problems using how their brain works. Experience with developing learners at all different levels and backgrounds.
