About Michael

I’m a primary school teacher from Wales with a warm, calm teaching style and a real focus on helping children feel confident in their learning. I’ve taught across KS2 for years, and I understand exactly where pupils struggle — whether it’s reading comprehension, times tables, problem-solving, spelling, or exam technique.

I’m practical, patient, and clear in how I explain things. I don’t overwhelm children — I break learning down into simple steps, build confidence, and make sure they understand why something works, not just how to do it.

I use real past papers, mark schemes, and structured revision resources to help learners improve quickly. Parents often tell me their child becomes more confident, more organised, and more willing to try things they previously avoided.

I’m available for online lessons after 7pm, which works well for busy families. Every session is personalised, and I provide homework tasks, progress updates, and access to a shared Google Drive folder full of helpful materials.

If your child needs clear explanations, steady support, and a tutor who genuinely cares about their progress, I’d be happy to help them move forward.
