About Yara
I am currently pursuing my studies at the American University of Paris (AUP). Very pedagogue by nature, I regularly teach English to college students or even high school for some. Being of American nationality, I could just as well accompany your child in the deepening of the English language or give him all the weapons to apprehend the bases and to make English an asset in his studies. My methodology is rather simple and direct. Learning English requires stupid and mean practice. I therefore naturally encourage oral discussions and I like to initiate conversations around the student's interests to put him at ease. The goal is to be in a comfort zone to facilitate the assimilation of the language. Naturally we will also work a lot on the writing and the turns of sentences specific to the English language which make all its richness! Through the writing of mini paragraphs on funny subjects or hole texts that must be completed so that he can grasp the nuances of the language. Your child will leave my program with more self-confidence and having acquired the linguistic bases necessary for the continuation of his studies. Of course it will be necessary that he regularly practices on his side if he wishes to progress more quickly, there is no miracle recipe unfortunately!
