About Michaela
Hi! I am a young 21 year old tutor looking for more ways I can help someone or make a difference. In 2019 I started my own business in tutoring Math. Today it is a successful self efficient business with more than 23 students and a booming reputation.
Through the years I started taking on teaching English and Afrikaans as well and I even have experience in assisting with the study of History, Geography and Biology.
I love what I do but seeing as I still have extra time, I want to put myself available on this platform to see if there would be people interested in online tutoring as well.
I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English and have advanced computer literacy skills. I assist kids in improving their reading skills and even writing orals/speeches for kids and helping them to prepare for it in a proper way in which they will get a great mark.
I am very patient and kind and I consider myself a smiley person. I love to bring a joke into my lessons and being creative in my teaching methods.
I am definitely not your average boring tutor! I have a TEFL diploma to my name as well as a certificate in Economic Management Sciences. I am starting my BED in 2023 through UNISA.
I am excited to see what journey awaits on this platform...

I run a successful tutoring center for kids (grade 1 - 12).
I have 3 years experience in my field and a heart burning with passion. During my lessons I let people feel at ease. I want you to know that I am here to help you. That means asking the questions you're too afraid to ask so I can help you achieve your goals.
I can teach fluently in both Afrikaans and English. My lessons last an average of 1 hour per class but if necessary I don't mind going up to two hours.
I want you to feel that you can trust me, weather you are in Metric and need help in preparation for your NSC exam or even if you want your young kids to start with young development tasks such as colors,basic counting, pronunciation, reading etc.
Adults wanting to improve are welcome as well! I can help with the whole Microsoft package applications such as Word and Exell.
