About Max

I trained at Italia Conti and Drama Centre and have over 15 years' experience as a professional actor/director/writer and 10 years teaching acting in film schools and conservatoire drama schools in London, L.A, and beyond. I have developed courses at some of London’s top drama schools, collaborated with Netflix, Channel 4 and the BBC, and more, and have extensive industry knowledge and contacts.

About the lesson

Acting: The training I provide is rooted in the Stanislavski system, with expertise in Uta Hagen, Meisner technique, Laban, animal studies and intimacy for screen. With a proven track record for helping clients get into drama school, nail auditions, deliver recall-worthy self-tapes and perfect their screen technique, I am here to help you take your craft to the next level. Writing for Stage and screen: As a dramaturg I am here to help you develop your ideas and turn them into producible plays or film/tv scripts. Classes can be tailored for the level of student, from complete beginner to professional actor. My classes are active, challenging and always push my students to develop their craft and technique in equal measure.
