About Archie

I trained as a professional actor at Mountview before going on to earn a First Class BA degree from King’s College London. I also hold an enhanced DBS and have over 5 years of experience teaching LAMDA and drama in schools, with many students achieving high distinctions. My lessons are friendly, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether preparing for LAMDA exams, improving public speaking, or developing performance skills, I focus on building confidence, creativity, and authentic expression. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment. Every lesson is designed to be engaging, inspiring, and results-focused, equipping learners with skills to excel both on stage and in everyday communication.

About the lesson

I offer engaging and supportive LAMDA lessons in Communication (Speaking Verse & Prose or Public Speaking) and Performance (Acting). My approach focuses on building confidence, creativity, and transferable acting skills in a fun, dynamic environment. Lesson Structure Lessons are typically weekly and tailored to each student’s needs and goals. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. Each session is designed to develop vocal clarity, expression, and performance skills, while also nurturing imagination and confidence. For exam candidates, lessons build towards the official LAMDA qualifications, though students can also focus solely on public speaking and performance skills without taking exams. What You Will Learn Acting: Explore different characters, develop physical and vocal skills, and understand the context of dramatic texts. Students learn to deliver authentic, confident performances. Speaking Verse & Prose: Develop clear speech, voice projection, memorisation, and interpretation of poetry and prose. Lessons support English literature skills and enhance expressive communication. Public Speaking: Create and deliver speeches with confidence, using voice, body language, and visual aids to engage audiences. Lessons help students prepare for exams, presentations, and interviews. Who the Lessons Are For Suitable for learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced students preparing for LAMDA exams or school presentations. About Me I am a professional actor with 5 years of teaching experience, and 60% of students have received a Distinction along with 100% receiving a Merit or higher! My lessons are encouraging, structured, and tailored to each student’s strengths and goals.
