About Kaara

I was a child actress who went to Anna Scher's for 7 years being taught by Anna herself for 6 years. The classes were mainly improvisation based and I had several professional credits as a child.

I have been professionally acting as an adult for 14 years where I have played the lead in an award-winning feature film, several short films, commercials and theatre productions.

I enjoy passing what I have learnt on to others whilst keeping my classes affordable. I have experience in group classes, one to one in person and zoom classes for adults children.

I have an enhanced DBS.

In January 2026 I started a 12 week face to face intensive course alongside another teacher, teaching young adults in a group setting until May. We are helping them reach their full potential through drama classes, mindfulness and communication skills. They will receive a filmed monologue and headshot at the end of the course.

I have just finished a 4 week emotional drama weekly session working with vulnerable women in a women's hostel.

I am currently writing my first play as well as collaborating on several other projects including stage and screen.

About the lesson

We will do vocal and body warm-ups, improvisation, scriptwork, self-tapes and guidance on how to source your own work without an agent. When you're ready I can help with how to approach agents that are right for you. I also incorporate mindfulness within my classes which will help you to use your nerves instead of your nerves preventing you from being the best actor you can be.

Before I took beginner acting classes with Kaara in a group, I got so much out of them that I then started taking one-to-one acting classes with her - been doing so for almost a year now and I've learnt so much. I am honestly so grateful to have her as a teacher. I have learnt a wealth of information from her, not just the acting side of things, but how to get ahead in the business. She is a down to earth, encouraging and lovely teacher, she makes you feel safe and at home - a great environment in which to grow and learn. She is the number one teacher I would choose everytime! Because of her help I have just booked my first role!
