About Oleksandr
My name is Oleksandr, and I have been studying history for more than seven years at one of the top universities in my country – Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in 2022 and Master’s degree in 2024, and I am now pursuing a PhD. My main research interest is the fascinating period of the Cossack Hetmanate. Since childhood, I have loved reading historical stories and imagining heroes, armor, and epic battles. This passion became my profession in 2018, when I entered university. Today, I want to share this passion with everyone – students, travelers, history fans, and anyone curious about Ukraine’s rich and exciting past.

I am Oleksandr, a professional historian with a Master’s degree and published research.
