About Drew

With over 20 years of experience in film, television, and theater, I bring both real-world industry expertise and a deep passion for teaching to every lesson. I hold an **MFA in Acting from NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts**, one of the world’s top programs, where I trained in a rigorous conservatory environment alongside some of the industry’s best. As a professional actor, I have appeared in major TV shows, including **Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett (Disney+), Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), CSI, CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds (CBS), and Days of Our Lives (NBC),** as well as feature films like **God’s Not Dead 2 (Sony) and The Cavern (Sony).** My stage work includes performances with **El Teatro Campesino and the Texas Shakespeare Festival,** bringing a wealth of classical and contemporary theater experience to my teaching. Beyond acting, I am an experienced studio coach and professor who has taught at **Mt. San Antonio College, The Acting Corps in North Hollywood, and my own personal studio, *The Being and Doing Workshop***—a space dedicated to immersive, transformative actor training. I specialize in **Meisner, Chekhov, on-camera acting, movement for actors, and scene study master classes**, combining multiple techniques to help actors develop their own unique craft. I have also written my own acting book, **"The Hybrid Technique – Meisner/Chekhov,"** which bridges two of the most powerful acting methodologies into a dynamic and effective approach.
