My wish is to help and inspire the student to grow and to watch them flourish on the instrument and have the confidence and knowledge and skills to go into any musical situation with no hesitation.
This knowlegde I am sharing with them has come from lots of years of hard work,dedicated practice,persistance and perserverance. Tried and tested successfully.

My approach to teaching is based on simple methods that have been tried and tested successfully and in my experience can be taught to anyone. I can help the student to develop through exercises like finger strength,right and left hand technique,thumb position,hand positions,use of three and four fingers (right hand) double thumping,chordal playing,walking bass lines,thumb, pop and slap,playing with a pick,rhythm reading,notation reading,improvisation,harmony and ear training.
Wether they are a beginner or advanced I can adapt to the level ability of the student.
All lessons are 30 minutes long.
I have had over 40 years experience in the music industry as a successful professional musician in all facets of the industry. From touring to recording sessions,T.V,Radio,Support acts,Solo Artist,Composer and Bass Guitar Teacher.
My lessons cater for all age groups and all levels.
