I am Selena Whitford, a USA-based professional physics tutor with 8 years of science teaching experience.

Physics helps students understand the laws and principles that control the natural universe. In my professional one-to-one live physics sessions, I help students build strong conceptual understanding through structured explanations and practical examples.
I begin with motion, force, energy, and Newtonian mechanics. Students learn how physical principles apply to everyday activities and scientific observations. I focus on conceptual clarity before advanced problem-solving.
Next, I introduce electricity, waves, thermodynamics, and quantitative physics techniques. Students practice equations, unit conversions, and numerical applications that strengthen analytical thinking and scientific reasoning.
In advanced learning stages, I teach quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics concepts. Students explore atomic behavior, space science, and modern physics theories in a simplified and engaging way.
