Deadly! Dan is an awesome teacher! Since I opted for jazz, he immediately tuned his approach so I could “feel the music” & develop an inner voice within my music. All things which I love from my favourite jazz players. A very good teacher provides consistent support (useful with the homework), I definitely recommend this legend! Deadly! Just had my very first lesson with Dan and it was really good! I can tell he knows his stuff deeply and he's a wonderful teacher that takes the time to not only explain to me what notes are played but how the harmony is structured which gives me a deeper understanding of what's going on.

Deadly! Dan shares his perception of music in a very organic manner. He is free from any limitations that musical theory can bring.
All the while explaining musical concepts, he will push you to listen to your intuition and inner ear to be able to determine if the sound you are creating on the piano is "good" or not.
Thanks to several lessons, I am now able to play and explore a tune in my own way.

Deadly! Dan is an incredibly talented pianist .. and his passion and love for the piano shows in the way he teaches this instrument. Dan is super positive, encouraging and patient. My son plays by ear but wants to read music and understand music theory.. so along side more advanced playing of the piano, Dan has begun teaching the basics of theory and reading music with him. The lessons are varied and challenging and my 13 year old son is really enjoying learning with Dan!
