About Shahzad
I am offering over 12 years of teaching and training experience in accounting, taxation and business. I am a qualified accountant with a specialist interest in Taxation, advance taxation Audit & assurance, financial accounting, economics and corporate reporting. I earned a first-class Bachelor of Commerce degree, professional degrees ACCA, ACSI and postgraduate qualification MSC in international accounting with Economics. I have provided IFRS training on behalf of several national and international accounting institutes and associations including the ACCA as well as my own bespoke IFRS training seminars for corporate clients and for public limited companies. Several entities rely on my IFRS Reporting expertise.I also have experience as director and lecturer for respected professional courses nationwide, earning Lecturer of the Year awards from ACCA in 2013. My in-depth knowledge of taxation, Accounting, business, Economics, marketing and Audit allows me to make regular contributions to these course manuals. As a professional, I have worked at the highest level with the very best. Prior to lecturing in higher education, I spent 2 years working as a tax consultant in Dean Coopers Charted Accountant in London United Kingdom. I am also author of two books called “Fundamentals of UK tax systems” FA2016 and FA2018 suitable for Level 4, 5 and 6 students

I tutor & mentor students on various Accounting, Finance and Tax related modules at Bachelors, Masters & Professional Level – ACCA, AAT, CIMA, ACA, HNC and HND. I also assist in development of learning materials, assessment design and moderation, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress and achievement. I also participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments. I also design curriculum and assessment for financial accounting, financial reporting, taxation and advance taxation.
