About Bex

Hi, I’m Bex, a qualified 200-hour yoga teacher based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. I have been interested in yoga for most of my life, but found consistency in my practice during the COVID-19 lockdown while looking for a way to support my mental health. What began as a way to manage stress quickly became a transformative practice that helped me reconnect with myself, both physically and mentally. This experience inspired me to complete my teacher training so I could share the benefits of yoga with others.

I have been practising yoga for over seven years and believe it should be accessible to everybody, regardless of age, experience, or flexibility. Alongside teaching, I am also a practising dentist and bring a calm, professional, and safety-conscious approach to every class.

My goal is to create a welcoming, judgement-free space where you can move, breathe, and grow in confidence while developing a practice that supports both your body and mind.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to you. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to yoga after a break, or looking to deepen your practice, I adapt each session to your goals, ability, and confidence level.

I offer one-to-one and small group classes in Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding Essex area, as well as online. My teaching focuses on mindful movement, breath awareness, mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and relaxation in a supportive environment where there’s no pressure to “get it right.”

Whether you’re hoping to reduce stress, improve your mobility, complement another sport, or simply enjoy an hour to yourself each week, my aim is to help you build a sustainable practice that leaves you feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected.

Details

First 30min session is a 30min consultation to learn more about you and your yoga goals, this allows me to plan your practice.
If you would like to make a booking for a small group a change of £10 is applied for each additional student (max 4 students).
