About Hannah
Hi, I'm Hannah! I have recently completed my DPhil in Medical Science at the University of Oxford. I also hold an MSc with Distinction and a BSc with First Class Honours, alongside 12 GCSEs (A*-B, including English and Maths) and 3 A-Levels (A*-B).
I have over seven years of experience tutoring maths and more than four years teaching medical science. My experience spans tutoring in schools, online sessions, and in-person teaching at both the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence and truly understand their subjects, making studying both more effective and more enjoyable. I recognise that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual, offering tailored strategies to overcome common challenges.
All of my lessons are personalised to focus on each student’s specific goals and areas for improvement. I aim to build a relationship with my students where they feel comfortable to ask questions and to finish each session feeling more confident and accomplished. I have a passion for teaching and I love working with students to help them reach their full potential. I strongly believe that exams do not reflect intelligence. Every student has the ability to do well if they work hard and learn the right techniques and study skills. Therefore, my lessons aim to help students learn effectively, improve on areas that they are struggling with and use the best exam techniques.
