Mark Rixon was one of my biology teachers for GCSE and A-Level. I thought he had a good variety of teaching methods, so if we didn't understand something he would explain it in a different way or use visual guides. He was also, in my opinion, one of the most helpful teachers as providing us with ideas for revision techniques. He often did extra sessions for us during A-Level which I think really helped a lot of us get a good understanding and good grades. I can actually remember a lot of our lessons, so it wasn't just a case of learning to pass an exam!
I'm a radiographer working in clinical research now, so must have learnt enough! ;)
