Techniques & Methodology I combine diagnostic assessment with active, problem-centred learning. Each student completes a short skills check before we begin; this pinpoints gaps so I can tailor explanations and exercises. During lessons I use: • “Think-aloud” walkthroughs to demystify how to break down algorithms and trace code. • Live coding and pair-programming so students immediately apply concepts. • Spaced-recall quizzes and exam-style questions to build long-term retention and exam confidence. • Regular micro-projects (e.g. mini-games, data-analysis scripts) that turn theory into something tangible and motivating. Typical Lesson Length Standard sessions run 60 minutes with a focused agenda: 1. Quick recap & goal-setting (5 min) 2. Core concept teaching (20 min) 3. Guided practice (25 min) 4.
