About Johnny
I love teaching drama and acting lessons and get a real buzz in helping drama and acting students reach their full potential. This includes seeing performers grow in confidence personally and when performing onstage.
My personal view is that the best way to teach is to make students feel comfortable and I pride myself on my sense of humour and laid-back, relaxed working style.
I am particularly confident and experienced in teaching improvisational drama techniques and comedy performance work. However, I have directed a lot of shows and plays over the years and I am therefore highly experienced in directing scripted pieces. I am more than happy to help with rehearsing Primary Level, GCSE Level Drama performances or above and I have previously helped with audition pieces.
I have also helped on many occasions with helping people with rehearsing speeches for other public occasions, such as weddings and business presentations.
Furthermore, I have worked in schools for many years and I am presently employed full-time within a SEND support role in a school in Hertford, Hertfordshire. This means that I am fully DBS checked. Furthermore, I am well verse and confident in coaching and mentoring people who are Autistic, ADHD or VI.

I can teach Drama & Acting, Public Speaking, Confidence Coaching & Creative Writing.
Having both a PGCE in Drama and a B.A (Hons) in Performing Arts I am particularly good with teaching improvisational performance and can help with script rehearsal work.
My lessons are 1 hour.
I have previously taught from age 7 upwards, through to adulthood. I am also experienced teaching SEND students, particularly those who are ADHD, Autistic and VI.
