About Jaryd
I remember what it felt like to be in high school struggling with math at times — feeling frustrated when concepts just didn’t click and losing confidence because of it. What really changed things for me was having a tutor who genuinely cared, someone who not only helped me understand the work, but also helped me believe in myself and approach challenges with a better mindset. That experience had a massive impact on me, not just academically, but personally too.
That’s one of the biggest reasons I’m passionate about teaching today. I know firsthand how much of a difference the right support and guidance can make in a student’s life. Math can be stressful and overwhelming, and I try to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace without feeling judged.
