I'm a fully qualified mathematics teacher and currently Head of A-Level Maths at a London secondary school. I hold a first-class Master’s degree (MMath) in Mathematics from the University of Exeter and have over three years of classroom experience, specialising in teaching A-Level and Further Maths. I offer a structured but adaptable approach to tutoring, tailored to the needs of each individual student. I focus on building deep conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills, particularly in the more challenging aspects of A-Level and Further Maths. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and clear. I break complex topics down into manageable steps and use targeted questioning to identify and close gaps in understanding. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students apply their knowledge confidently under timed conditions. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, though I can offer longer sessions for intensive exam preparation or cover specific topics in shorter bursts if needed. My tutoring is aimed at A-Level students (Year 12/13) preparing for Edexcel or other major exam boards. I specialise in: A-Level Maths Further Maths (CP1, CP2, FP1, FP2, FM1) Whether you're aiming for a grade boost, top grades for university, or stretching into Further Maths topics, I can help build the skills and confidence to get there.
