About Vicki
I am a qualified teacher with over 20 years experience. I have been teaching in schools, tutoring and teaching functional skills Maths for many years.
For tutoring I generally work with primary school children, helping them to improve their maths before the SATS. I also support children in years 7-9 when struggling with KS3 maths.
I teach Functional Skills maths weekly at a local college and have had good success with my students passing.

Maths is often a subject that has fears and worries intrinsically woven through it. My aim is to break down these fears and build confidence in the basics, which in turn can be used to solve more and more complex problems.
Through repetition, practical examples and a solid grounding in the basics I gently guide students to their own success. Everyone can achieve in maths when shown patience and care.
