I am a primary school teacher with many years experience, currently working as a curriculum writer at Cool.org developing curriculum materials and researching best teaching and learning practice. I am also an experienced and published writer of children's books, which support young children with inferencing, predicting, comprehension, and writing their own stories for vocabulary development and language control.

About the lesson

Taking an inquiry and gamified approach to learning. Students are encouraged to play around with problems and explain their thinking whilst being guided towards the right answers. But, most importantly, having fun, allowing their own interests to lead them, and feeling empowered and in control of their own learning.
