About Josh
I’m a qualified primary teacher with 10 years of classroom experience. I have extensive experience supporting children of different abilities and preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school.
I’m passionate about helping children develop both their academic skills and confidence. I create a friendly, supportive learning environment where pupils feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves.
Whether your child needs extra support, wants to build confidence or is looking for greater challenge, I will tailor lessons to their individual needs and help them make meaningful progress.

As a qualified primary teacher with 10 years of classroom experience, I provide friendly, engaging and personalised tuition for KS2 children aged 7–11, specialising in Maths and English.
I tailor each lesson to the individual child, identifying areas for development while building on their strengths and confidence. I use clear explanations, modelling, questioning, practical activities and independent practice to make learning engaging and effective.
I have extensive experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs, as well as supporting children who need extra confidence or challenge.
Lessons are typically one hour, with the content and pace adapted to suit each child's needs.
