About Victoria
I have been a qualified science teacher (PGCE & QTS) for over 12 years, having just stepped down from a Head of Science position so that I can focus on doing what I love most, helping students succeed. I have a passion to help learners achieve their own ambitions, whether that be to simply pass their Science GCSEs because they find the subject difficult, or perhaps because they want the additional stretch and challenge to reach the very top grades. Having a wealth of teaching experience means I can offer sessions for any GCSE course or A level chemistry. With experience marking for AQA, I have a very strong understanding of mark schemes and how to translate solid understanding into high grades. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

My lessons will take place online via Microsoft TEAMS using a variety of techniques including presentations with practice questions, modelled step-by-step answers and plenty of exam practice. As an experienced classroom practitioner and examiner for AQA, I aim to provide a supportive environment which allows learners to deepen their understanding of subject content along with detailed knowledge of mark schemes to develop strong exam techniques.
