About Kayleigh
I am a qualified secondary school Maths teacher with QTS and a PGCE, and I have been teaching in a secondary school since qualifying in 2023. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of ages and abilities, teaching both Foundation and Higher level students, which has allowed me to develop a flexible and supportive teaching style tailored to individual learning needs. Alongside my teaching qualifications, I also hold a First Class degree in Sociology, which involved statistical analysis and strengthened my ability to explain mathematical concepts through real-world applications and problem-solving.
My lessons are delivered online in a professional, engaging, and structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. I focus on high-frequency topics, exam-style questions, and clear step-by-step methods to help students improve both their understanding and exam technique. For younger students, I prioritise securing strong foundational skills to ensure they are fully prepared for future GCSE content. Lessons are one hour long, with students typically attending one or two sessions per week depending on their goals and the level of support they require.
