About Edvige
As a qualified mathematics teacher, I bring both academic knowledge and classroom teaching experience to every tutoring session. My goal is to create a professional, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving their skills.
I believe that confidence is an essential part of success in mathematics. I take the time to understand each student's needs and adapt my explanations to their level and learning pace. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through the reasoning and problem-solving process so they can develop a deeper understanding and become more independent learners.
My teaching approach is based on patience, clarity, consistency, and professionalism. I prepare each lesson carefully, set clear learning objectives, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Whether a student is struggling with a difficult concept, preparing for an exam, or aiming to achieve a higher level in mathematics, I am committed to providing personalized support and helping them build the confidence they need to succeed.

A typical lesson usually includes:
1-Quick review: Review previous concepts and check understanding.
2-Introduction: Introduce the new concept and explain why it is important.
3-Step-by-step instruction: Break the concept into simple and manageable steps.
4-Guided practice: Solve examples together and encourage the student to explain their reasoning.
5-Independent practice: Allow the student to solve problems independently while I provide support when needed.
6-Review and feedback: Identify areas that need improvement and summarize the key concepts learned.
7-Next steps: Provide additional exercises or recommendations for continued practice.
As a trained mathematics teacher, I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and adapted to their individual learning style. My approach is student-centered, patient, and practical. I also use a gradual approach: I explain, we practice together, and then the student practices independently. I provide constructive feedback and adapt my teaching strategies according to the student's progress. My goal is not only to help students get the right answer, but also to help them understand why the answer is correct and develop the confidence to solve problems independently. I offer mathematics tutoring for students from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
