About Eve
I understand your struggle-- your child (or you!) may have lost touch with Russian (or never once dabbled in it!) despite your efforts of raising them on it! Growing up in the United States, I was raised in Russian and learned English in school. However, I began to lose touch with my native language, which is when my family took action and practically inundated me back with the language as a pre-teen and teenager. In university, I took it upon myself to become fluent in Russian, master the script, and solidify a strong grasp of vocabulary and grammar. I took intensive classes for two years, then tutored new Russian speakers for one year. I had an incredible time tutoring and channeling success in all my students, which is why I'd love to spread my knowledge and passion to help out people like YOU!

As a Russian tutor, I will focus on teaching the 7 Russian cases, which are the fundamental building blocks of the language. Supposing the prospective student doesn't grasp the language and alphabet, I will begin by taking them through the steps of learning and mastering that, primarily with typing and if logistically feasible, written script.
My lessons are catered towards beginner speakers (who might not even know a lick of Russian!) and intermediate speakers with some background in the language (perhaps you or your child understands it, but their speaking abilities are not yet on par).
I have such a passion for this language and believe in the benefits of bilingualism. Not only does it work your mind, but reinforces a connection to family and ancestral roots!
