About Isabel
During my GCSE's and A-levels, I struggled with certain topics in biology I just couldn't get my head around, until I met my tutor who really helped me regain confidence in myself and inspired me to study biology at a degree level.
I believe that everyone is capable of overcoming challenging topics with the right help and direction. I am very passionate in science education to people of all levels and there is no one right way to learn, Biology is hard enough without having to decode a 10 year old textbook! I am new to tutoring but I am dedicated and open-minded to what students need and ask for in sessions.

I believe that general understanding of Biology is key to be able to apply the knowledge to answer the markscheme correctly. Students find it difficult to remember isolated information if they do not understand the general topic. E.g the role of DNA and its expression is key to therefore understand the topics of genomics, gene expression and variation.
Tutoring times are flexible depending on the student.
My lessons are for students studying Biology at GCSE and A-level.
