About Alexia
Optimistic graduate student studying GIS for the preparation of my second master’s that starts in September of 2025 in Ireland.
Current research focused on sea floor mapping and cold water coral conservation, as well as research in thermo-tolerance and metabolic rate of coastal invertebrates. Previous research on the abundance and biomass of macro-jellyfish in the Northern Gulf of Alaska.
I have just over 4 years of experience working in the research feild as well as 3 years of experience teaching or assistant teaching college level biology courses. I love helping students understand the confusing and create an encouraging environment those who are in need of assistance!
