About Amer
I am as patient as it gets and I serve to breakdown difficult concepts into their simple, component parts for every student. I know what high school biology/AP biology teachers like to ask on exams, and I know the types of questions that are asked on the AP exam. I also tutor for biology/biochemistry for the MCAT, and I received a great score on my MCAT I took in 2022.

Hi there! I’m a recent USC graduate (graduated in May of 2021) yearning to help those in the subject of biology. I am currently in my gap year as a pre-med student doing research on pulmonary hypertension, so I know the ins and outs of not only the molecular basis of biology, but the physiological basis as well. As a pre-med student, I know what being “pre-med” entails: stress, anxiety, and fear of exams, especially in the realm of biology.
I am here to assist students in need of help in biology and AP Biology, subjects that I am very familiar with. I know exactly what types of questions many teachers and test-makers put on their exams based off of my previous experiences tutoring in biology. I helped many of my students receive a 5 on their AP Biology exams and I want to help my students garner the best grades as possible.
My approach is simple: I want to make difficult concepts extremely easy to understand in a step-wise manner. As a student at USC, I was bogged down with tons of information and I know how it feels when teachers or professors don’t want to simplify convoluted topics. But, that’s why I’m here: to simplify difficult concepts as much as possible, to the point where even a textbook isn’t needed at times.
Let me help you as much as possible and I promise you will feel a lot more comfortable with subjects in biology!
I am a recent graduate of USC, where I received my B.S. in biology. I took some of the most difficult courses in biology at USC and succeeded, such as: intro biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, mammalogy, brain architecture, and even a directed research class. I am also performing hands-on research right now at the University of Illinois Chicago on pulmonary hypertension, so the physiological aspects of biology come very natural to me.
