About Rune

I am a passionate ESL tutor with 13 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I enjoy helping students improve their English and become confident in communication. Over the years, I have taught around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me understand different learning styles and needs. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and writing to build a strong foundation.

One of my proudest milestones is seeing students grow from basic learners into confident speakers. Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication skills. My teaching style is simple, friendly, and interactive.

I encourage students to practise regularly and ask questions freely. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is centred on helping students use English confidently in real-life situations. I believe that language learning should be practical and meaningful, so I use real-life examples and case studies to explain how English is used in daily communication such as conversations, workplace interactions, travel, and academic contexts.

This helps students understand both the structure and purpose of the language. I focus strongly on motivation by creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to speak, ask questions, and learn from their mistakes. I include problem-solving activities such as role-plays, discussions, storytelling, and real-life tasks that encourage students to think in English and respond naturally.

I teach with integrity by giving honest and constructive feedback that helps students improve step by step. I also maintain flexibility by adapting lessons based on each student’s level, pace, and personal goals. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, and communication skills to ensure complete language development.
