About Priyanka
I’m a patient, approachable, and dedicated tutor with several years of teaching and academic coordination experience. I have experience teaching English and Mathematics in school and after-school coaching environments, and I enjoy helping students understand concepts clearly and develop confidence in their abilities.
I have taught English to students in Grades 6–8 and have supported learners in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, literature, speaking, and communication skills. I also provide Mathematics support up to an intermediate level, focusing on strong fundamentals, logical thinking, and step-by-step problem-solving.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and student-focused. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, learning pace, and areas for improvement. I use clear explanations, examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to make learning easier and more engaging.
Whether a student needs help with schoolwork, wants to strengthen their fundamentals, prepare for assessments, or simply become more confident in English or Math, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

My Teaching Approach
I believe effective teaching is not just about explaining a topic—it is about helping students understand it, apply it, and feel confident using it. My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and adapted to each learner’s pace, level, and individual needs.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I use a combination of clear explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, questioning, discussions, and regular feedback. I break complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and encourage students to actively participate rather than simply memorize information.
For English, I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, literature, speaking, and communication skills. For Mathematics, I focus on building strong fundamentals, explaining concepts step-by-step, and using practice questions to develop accuracy, problem-solving, and confidence.
A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by an introduction to the new topic and its learning objectives. I explain the concept using simple examples and interactive discussion, followed by guided and independent practice. For Math, I work through problems step-by-step and gradually encourage students to solve questions independently.
The lesson usually ends with a short recap, feedback, and suggestions for practice before the next session.
What Sets Me Apart
With several years of experience in teaching and academic coordination, I understand that every student learns differently. I am patient, approachable, and attentive to individual learning gaps. My experience as an English teacher for Grades 6–8, along with my background in language training and academic support, has helped me develop a practical approach that combines strong subject knowledge with encouragement and personalized attention.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
