About Robyn
I have many years experience as an early childhood educator and trainer of early childhood teachers, in South Africa and China. Most of the student teachers I have taught had English as a second or Foreign language and so we developed interesting creative ways to deepen the understanding and use of English, in a non-threatening way.

To enable students to develop the confidence to speak English they need to feel connected to the language - it must be accessible and interesting to them. I like to encourage the students to tell me more about themselves through different methods of expression, eg poetry, music, story-telling, journal writing, in order for me to develop a course that is individually suited to them. This allows them to trust the process of learning the language in a trustful and enthusiastic way.

Details
My rate is dependent on whether the student is available within the Riverstone area (or can come to my home). I'm prepared to travel up to 8 Kilometers within the area but if travel outside this perimeter is required I will charge $2 per Kilometer.
