About Ruby
Again Ruby here. The reason as to why I’m doing this is quite simple.
To help others just the way I was helped. With the help of my tutor my academic stress was eliminated completely. Things that once felt so hard that I didn’t even bother ready the question became so easy.
I started getting help via a tutor quite late in my degree but if I had had this assistance quite earlier the subjects / modules wouldn’t have been that daunting to begin with. I got a tutor of my own and I realised as much as it’s important for me to study and put in my all, the delivery of the information be it lectures or lessons matters as well. With tutoring I got to be vulnerable and actually say I didn’t understand something without feeling ashamed. My tutor got to understand the way that I processed information and it was easier for them to tailor information according to me. Which is something I greatly benefited from.

We identify the topics that you are struggling with.
Break up the topic into lessons. Just for example purposes let’s say 5 lessons. After that I would set a topical test for us to examine your understanding of the topic. Access, if good, we continue if bad, we go over it again.
Lesson duration would range between 45 min- 1hr. But I’m flexible with time incase you feel you need a bit more after the lesson
Target audience- A level students and students undertaking their undergraduate in biochemistry
