About Natalia
I graduated as a linguist and lived in the USA for 1,5 years. I speak English et je parle français aussi.
I used to teach English in the University for a year, and then switched to private lessons only.
Since then I've leveled up my French and started working as a tour guide in St Petersburg, I see how knowing a bit of Russian enriches travelers experience.
I've written my own Russian For Travelers Phrasebook that helps anyone jump start understanding Russian.
I see any language as a tool to get closer to other cultures and people.
We receive so much more when we travel and speak the local language.
I've started teaching Russian while helping my friends with their homework, and participating in language exchange lessons, and then I've realized how much I enjoy it.
I also offer online Speaking Workshops for levels starting from pre-intermediate.

I use English and French every day in communication with people and it helps me better understand the struggles they face when learning Russian.
I apply that experience in my classes, giving comparisons and finding similarities between our languages for deeper understanding.
I think humor plays a huge part in language learning, and I use that a lot - jokes and fun images get you so much closer to locals.
