About DIONNE

I am a Bespoke tailor and have been training for 6 months I have taught 2 students and currently teaching one at the moment full-time at the end of the training they will be able to make a bespoke jacket from start to finish
It has help them become more independent push their ideas at university, especially in their 3rd year for final collection as they have better knowledge on construction.
Also help them to decide whether tailoring / seamstressing is what they want to do career wise.

About the lesson

Trained bespoke tailor 10 years experience working on savile row my lessons are for thoses who maybe already studying bespoke tailoring degree or college level.
Lesson structure will depend on your capability i.e knowledge what you will learn overall is:-
Different hand techniques used in bespoke tailoring
Different stages for how to prepare the jacket for each fitting i.e baste / pocket baste / forward / finish these 4 stages will be broken down even more as each stage can vary depending on style of jacket / cloth (fabric) or type of customer
Also do extra lessons for thoses who are interested in learning about how to do a fitting an individual / patterns / alterations.

and I do also accept someone who has never done much sewing and wants a career change lesson structure will be different as we will be doing a lot more practicing and theory i.e how to setup a machine / how to use the machine / how to sew by hand / how to use a presser (iron) / make a catalogue of samples that will help you when coming to making the jacket and other garments
