About Hannah

Currently, I am a tutor at Tayside Young Fiddlers which is a music group that targets Scottish traditional music with 20-30 members. I played with them throughout school for 7 years and have been asked to become a tutor this year which is great fun!

I want to expand the range of students I teach and hopefully help more people learn how to play Traditional Scottish music. By using this website I have found students eager to learn and it is my pleasure to teach them!
I love seeing people improve every time they play a piece- it is very rewarding.

About the lesson

I am a very friendly, enthusiastic and passionate person and will do the best I can to improve my students techniques and their love for music.
In our sessions we will work on bow techniques, accuracy, tuning and sight reading music.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Hannah.

Deadly! Hannah is a fantastic and patient tutor with a great sense of humour. She has made the lessons easy to follow given my complete lack of music experience.

I will be signing up for another block without hesitation and fully recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a tutor.

Hannah is a very friendly and confident person, with a real talent in the subjects she possesses passion for. I’ve known her for many years as a talented musician, and a compassionate, considerate friend - ideal attributes for your next tutor. I’m sure Hannah will be very invested in your progress in playing fiddle, and strengthening your knowledge in Philosophy, whilst supplying a few laughs in the process!
