About Eva
I have been very passionate about Biology my entire life, as a child I would always gravitate towards models of the human body and books explaining different aspects of physiology. My interest only increased as I got older and so I ensured that I always applied myself to my full capability within my studies to achieve my dream career! I am now training to pursue a career in medicine and currently undergoing the second year of my biomedical science course at the University of Sheffield after attaining a 1st in my first year. I love tutoring as it gives me the opportunity to work in an environment that is relevant to my passion as well as the chance to share my interest and motivation for studying biology with younger students who also may be interested in pursuing a career in this field.

I approach my tutoring with the individual needs of the student being my primary concern with focus on how I can best meet these and improve upon the gaps in their knowledge; this involves a lot of listening to the student and working through practice papers together covering exam technique as well as teaching and revising content depending on where both the student and I feel they could use some additional support. I achieved an 8 in my Biology GCSE and an A in my biology A level, now going on to doing a biomedical science degree in which I attained a 1st in my first year and I would love to help younger students in the subject aiming to do well :). I have experience tutoring in biology as I tutored two A level Biology students and 1 GCSE biology student to achieve high performances in their exams throughout the duration of the last academic year. A session is typically an hour in length and I am happy to cover all topics within GCSE or A level Biology.
