About Sofia
I was so nervous when sitting my exams. They seemed so daunting and I put a lot of pressure on myself to do well. But exams definitely do need to be that scary. Once it came to the exam day I always felt very confident in my self, knowing that I had gone through the course specification and completed the practice papers.
Now that I'm a second year medical student I am really used to performing well under the pressure of exams. I really enjoy being able to teach others the skills I have aquired.

I achieved straight A's throughout national 5's, Highers and Advanced Highers whilst juggling work experience, volunteering and sports. I am now a second year medical student and would love to have the chance to help others achieve good grades.
I have previously tutored family friends for a year, and have been working as a tutor for medical interviews for 6 months.
I believe that practice makes perfect. Understanding the theory behind why mechanisms occur is so important to understanding the questions, then once practicing past papers we can find out what you need to work on and ensure if that question comes up again in the real exam you will get it right!
I believe working for at least an hour at a time is beneficial but I am also happy to undertake two hour lessons at a time.
