About Beth
I am Beth, I am a 19 year old 2nd year medical student at the University of Southampton.
Whilst at university, I live with my friends, and we love playing music on our record player, watching 90s films and making sushi! Whilst at home, living in the countryside near Wales, I love hanging out with my family, especially my dog and my cat, and loving the peace and quiet during a what can be stressful degree!
During A-levels and GCSE’s, the best method of revision for me was to go through past paper questions and reflect on them. These lessons give the opportunity to go through these questions with a helping hand, as they can seem overwhelming at first.

Relaxed lessons going through topics which you find hard. I understand the difficulty of not understanding something, so we will work through the syllabus and then past paper questions slowly until you feel confident, and then recap the following week to make sure the knowledge isn’t lost.
Lessons will typically be 1 hour a week, starting off by 15-20 minutes of recapping the topics, then the rest of the session going through past paper questions, and reflecting on the mistakes made so they are less likely to happen in the real thing. Exam boards like to use a lot of the same style questions, just with different numbers or scenarios, so if you have done lots of past papers, you are most of the way there! Whilst this lesson structure works for me, it may not work for everyone, so we can be fully flexible on what works best for you!
